Windows XP Setup (Classic View) - Dial-up
If you are using Category View, Click switch to classic view on
the left.
1. Click Start, then click Control Panel
If you are using Category View, click switch to classic view on the
left.
2. Click on Network Connections (Classic View)

3. Click on "Create a new connection" (Classic View) and
skip step 4.
4. Click the Next button

5. Select Connect to the Internet
6. Click the Next button

7. Select “Set up my connection manually”
8. Click the Next button

9. Select “Connect using a dial-up modem”
10. Click the Next button

11. Type in GlobalNet
12. Click the Next button

13. Type in the local access number
14. Click the Next button

15. Select either option, then click the Next button (optional based on
Windows configuration)

16. Type in your username and password in the appropriate fields. (Be sure to
put “@ispwest.com” after your username)

17. Check the box that says "Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop"
18. Click the Finish button

19. Double click on the newly created GlobalNet icon located on your desktop.
20. Click the Dial button to connect to the internet.
